We believe that everyone was created with the ability to experience and express the power of love. Sometimes, though, life has a way of disconnecting us from that divine power within. LOVE WINS is an expression of faith that together, we can reconnect with love’s power to positively transform each other and the world we live in. In this way, it’s not about the love of power but rather, the power of love. | These words given to us in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 describe the 16 Love Attitudes. Each one reflects an incomparable facet of “love in action,” because love, after all is said and done, is a verb. Love is not merely what we say, it’s what we do.
As an example of how this works, take the Love Attitude: Love never fails. Tell us that story in your own words, from your own heart that demonstrates the love never fails attitude in your life. When were you an unfailing source of love or the receiver of someone else’s unfailing love? How did this experience transform you and give your life new meaning? Just stop and consider how the revelation of one or more of the Love Attitudes has changed your life. Any one of these themes could be the basis for your LOVE WINS story. No matter what theme you choose, it should always result in an inspirational, true story about a life greatly enriched through the power of love - a story that moves the deepest part of our souls as it lightens the heart. It doesn’t have to be a complicated tale; it need only be a simple and honest declaration that enlightens us all about our capacity to expand our lives to their fullest potential. For although ‘you can give without loving, you can’t love without giving.’ All great stories have a distinctive beginning, middle and an end. And at the end, a Love Wins story should leave the reader or listener with some special ‘love wisdom’ they’ll want to hold close to their heart. A bit of unique insight, some eye-opening advice, or maybe an intriguing picture painted by words that triggers a deep emotional response. The most important element of a LOVE WINS story, though, is your own personal connection to the power of love in your life.
